The dehydrated carrots are in the form of slices or dices or cubes or in the form of shreds
Colour :
Dehydrated carrots are of a colour, typical of the type and variety.
Flavour :
Dehydrated carrot is having the characteristics and odour of fresh carrot.
Impurity or contamination :
Dehydrated carrots are free from loose skin, discolouration, grit, insect infestation, moulds, rodent excreta and any other foreign material.
Chemical characteristics :

2. Sulphur Dioxide, mg/kg 1500
3. Peroxidase test Negative
Note :
When anticaking agent is present dehydrated Carrot, the maximum limit for acid-insoluble ash, percent by mass shall be 2.5.
Packaging :
Inner Packing: Aluminum Foil Bag or poly-bags.
Outerpacking: cartons.
Storage :
Store in cool and dry place, with the shelf life of 360 days.
